Russell Simmons is suing Def Jam (The label he started)!!! He recently twitted about the situation in frustration.
“Can’t believe I’m suing Def Jam,” Simmons said on Twitter via his username “UncleRush.” “They are now trying to eat my lunch? Unbelievable bullies. [That is] Unprecedented stupidity on their part.”
It is not clear as of yet where the lawsuit originates from. Simmons deleted the post from his Twitter page shortly after. There are no further details at press time regarding what the alleged lawsuit stems from. In response to the rumors, Simmons stated to BET.com “I can’t comment on the pending litigation.”
Now that’s kind of a smacking in the face to Russell. We don’t know the true story behind everything but we hope this doesn’t get ugly.
