Keyshia Cole released an official statement on her relationship with her family. She also speaks on her new family and completing her new album:
“To all my friends and fans,
It’s time that I clear the air. It’s not a secret that I haven’t been in contact with my mother Frankie, and my sisters Neffe and Elite and I never wanted to air out our differences to the public. While I won’t go into detail here I find it necessary to let you guys know I decided to stop communication with them because I was at a point in my life where I needed serenity and peace to move forward. Please know I love my family very much but it was time to let it go. You guys are a witness to a lot of what was happening from watching on air and online. Now that I am becoming a mom my passion for having a loving and peaceful home for my child is my #1 priority. It’s very important to both Daniel and I. My plate is very full; I have a new baby coming, we are planning our wedding and I am working in the studio on a new album that I am close to completing. The stress that my family is giving me with their constant false reports is not healthy and it’s not what I need at this time in my life. Please understand that there are only a few people that can officially confirm or deny anything that’s happening in my life and that’s me, Daniel, and my publicist, Tresa Sanders. And my girl Monica never lies.”
Keyshia Cole was spotted yesterday in Oakland spending some Holiday cheer. Despite the fact Keyshia is pregnant, she was on hand to help deliver gifts to the kids in the local community.

From the looks of the footage, it does not seem like Keyshia is really trying to hide this pregnancy. My thoughts are since she and her family have received so much negative publicity in the past, she is just laying low.
For everyone who’s been wondering where Keyshia Cole has been hiding for the past couple of months, well Keyshia is supposedly 5-6 months pregnant. Not only is she supposedly preggers, Keyshia reportedly brought a house in Cleveland to be closer to her baby daddy boo Boobie Gibson who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Freddy O was able to catch some footage Keyshia Cole’s mother Frankie right after she got her first tattoo. I can’t wait to see her new tv show on BET. It’s going to be hilarous.
Maybe I will never understand the whole boo-tattooing thing. When I initally saw a picture of her tattoo about a month ago, I couldn’t read what the tattoo said cleary so I didn’t want to make any assumptions. These two have not been dating for more than a year, which is why I quetioned the tattoo. The tattoo actually says Truly Blessed. D. Gibson. Keyshia is one known to have some bad break-ups from the lyrics in her debut ablum The Way It Is to her break -up with Rapper Young Jeezy. I hope this relationship, last because tattoos are forever.
“Today I got 5 calls from different radio personalities asking me if I had talked to Frankie Lons (Keyshia Cole’s mama). They said that she had been missing for a few days, and had not been herself. I have to say that I love me some Frankie, and would do anything for her. She might cut a fool at times but in the end is one of the most loving and caring people you will ever meet.”
