NonStopInfo Exclusive Interview With Shwayze
NonStopInfo got a chance to do an exclusive interview with Shwayze.
As they say, This is not a sequel. This is what happens when the sun dips down, that swollen moon comes up, the sea water ripples and cools, and the Pacific Coast Highway still feels warm on your bare feet with a little of that leftover sunlight trapped in the blacktop. This is the last hiss of the last popped bottle cap, when the bubbling depths of a golden Corona swallow that last sliver of lime. This is where the story continues, with the top down, the wind spraying loose sand from your hair. This is what happens when you don’t go home with the sun… and you follow the moon.
Shwayze has done features with New Orleans hip-hop duo The Knux, (Shwayze’s lifelong hero) Snoop Dogg, Ric Ocasek from the Cars, and Darryl Jenifer, bassist for legendary D.C. punk band Bad Brains, Let It Beat is a fearless experiment held together by the controlled yet casual guidance of Adler’s production.
That first one, the self-titled album ”Shwayze”, ushered the unlikely duo to unprecedented heights. A string of multiple hits (”Buzzin’”, “Corona and Lime”) fueled by millions of Internet plays carried them to top ten album sales, landed them a coveted slot on the Vans Warped Tour, and turned them into reality television stars on MTV. In a wound-up world, Shwayze was a life-lesson in laid back lassitude, a coast-to-coast call to make every day a lazy day. And if success always breeds a bit of contempt, “Let It Beat” comes out swinging.
NonStopInfo: With this reality show craze going on, do you feel that your show “BUZZIN’” helped you guys become a household name?
Shwayze: 100 percent. The trick was making it cool and representing us and our music… I think we did.
NonStopInfo: A lot of people want to know, what genre do you use to classify your music? Good Music…
Shwayze: I don’t put things in boxes. Ask Bob Dylan that question and Ill go with his answer.
NonStopInfo: How would you describe a regular day for Shwayze?
Shwayze: Beautiful in a million ways… music, friends, women, and… a few other things.
NonStopInfo: Did you experience a dramatic lifestyle change with the release of your first album, “Shwayze”, and in what way?
Shwayze: For me it was a turning point. People started thinking of me for my music and not for which starlet I was dating at the time. It’s what I always wanted…I am a musician not a gigalo.
NonStopInfo: How does your new album “Let It Beat” differ from your first album “Shwayze”?
Shwayze: It’s the evolution. Same same but different as we said in Hawaii growing up. Its the night to our first albums day.
NonStopInfo: Do you guys feel that your music and sound are still evolving?
Shwayze: Daily…and if it stops that’s when I stop.
NonStopInfo: What are the unique features of your new album “Let It Beat” that will allow your music to appeal to an even wider and more diverse fan-base?
Shwayze: Well we tried to tackle some new topics. The production is bigger but it’s still just me in the studio with Shwayze. We definitely concentrated on the songwriting craft and I worked hard on the melodies and pushing my range as a singer and his range as a rapper.
NonStopInfo: Based on your success, what are the future plans for Shwayze?
Shwayze: We are working on a movie right now. And more and more music as always….
NonStopInfo: How are you planning to build on this success?
Shwayze: Just write good songs and tour our asses off. That’s what we do… it’s our passion not our job.
NonStopInfo: Any upcoming projects?
Shwayze: I just started my Bananabeat Records Label and this record is actually on that imprint through Interscope and Suretone. I have a few great artists that I’m about to get out there…
NonStopInfo: At this moment, what would be the one thing that you would like to share with your fans?
Shwayze: I love you! No strings attached. You make my life worth it.
Special thanks to Shwayze and Chad of Total Assault.

This isn’t even an interview with Shwayze. It’s an interview with Cisco Adler. Did you not realize who you were talking to?

Throughout their marketing campaign, both Aaron and Cicso have been referred to as Shwayze. Shwayze is considered a group and not just 2 individual performers. The interview was done by Shwayze as a group. Thanks for your input. Please continue to check out NonStopInfo.Com.

Some time before, I really needed to buy a car for my organization but I did not earn enough cash and couldn’t buy something. Thank God my sister proposed to take the loan from reliable bank. Thence, I acted that and used to be happy with my short term loan.
