NonStopInfo.Com’s “Artist of the Month” Tito Brown.
Born in the tough streets of Brooklyn, New York, Gilberto “Tito” Chambers developed a way with words at an early age. At the tender age of six he began writing poetry. His work was well received by his peers and family members. At age 11, he started turning his poems into song format. He became very rebellious as most youth do during their teenage years and moved out at age 16. “Leaving home gave me a different perspective on life, that no one cares once you leave the nest. ”I adopted a hustler’s mentality”, says the young lyricist. His “rhymes” as he would call it, became more reflective of the harsh realities of the streets and his anger became evident in his song titles, concepts, and lyrics.
Known for his clever punch lines, wittiness, and ability to tell stories so vividly that the listener felt a part of the song, Tito Brown made a vow that song writing would be his main priority. He began recording at age 17 and then moved to Virginia. “A breath of fresh air is all I needed and VA gave it that to me.” It was in Virginia where he got his first taste at the “good life.” He has recorded in various studios and worked with many different artists and producers. He has been ghostwrtier for many local artists as well. His newest single “Price iz Rite” debuts Feb. 8th, 2009 on Power 92.1 in Virginia. His upcoming STREETSWEEPERS mixtape “Usual Suspect Vol.1″ with DJ Foot is scheduled for release in March 2009. Tito Brown is the epitome of hip-hop music. He is stylish, creative, captivating and understands that in life not only can you play the cards that you are dealt…but you can also leave a losing a game, go to another table bet it all and WIN!!!
